LeBron James tells Dwayne Wade he wants to leave Cavaliers and reunite (Video)
by Josh Hill 2h ago

LeBron James is less than 50 games into his reunion with the Cleveland Cavaliers and it’s already looking like he realizes what a giant mistake he made.

Over the weekend, reports began to surface that LeBron James was very seriously considering leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers again, but it was passed off as knee-jerk reaction. The reports aren’t going away though, and neither is the evidence that LeBron James is wildly unhappy in Cleveland and regretting his decision to return.

LeBron James arrived in Cleveland to an outpouring of well-wishes and thanks from fans in Cleveland, but all of that has worn off in a very short amount of time. On Christmas Day, LeBron returned to the Miami Heat but apparently didn’t want to leave. In audio captured by NBA cameras, LeBron James is very clearly heard saying that he is unhappy in Cleveland and wants to leave.

Just listen for yourself, as LeBron James states rather clearly that he wants to reunite with Dwyane Wade next season if the Cavaliers continue to dissolve into mediocrity.

The audio is hard to make out, but if you listen carefully you’ll hear LeBron James tell Dwyane Wade that he wants to reunite with him once his contract with the Cavaliers runs out.

“Like I said, if we aren’t better this year, we’re gonna re-unite again and do some bigger and better things, alright?”

Sorry Cavaliers fans, you just can’t ever have nice things.

Of course, LeBron James isn’t saying he is going to ditch Miami, as he could recruit Dwyane Wade to come to Cleveland and play with him for the Cavaliers. But given how rough things are at the moment and how they don’t seem to be getting any better, it’s much more likely that Wade and LeBron team up again in Miami or somewhere else.

Imagine the New York Knicks with Wade and LeBron, or even the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s not something that is guaranteed to happen, but it’s sounding more and more like LeBron James has checked out in Cleveland and is wholly uninterested in making the team better. Whether that be because he grossly misjudged the situation in Cleveland or because he wanted the attention so badly it blinded his better judgement, but it’s apparent he’s not happy where he is.

All of this could change if the Cavaliers hit their stride and go on a run to the NBA Finals, but as it stands now, LeBron James is being reminded of why he left Cleveland in the first place and may end up doing it again after just one season.
