NBL Canada Super Combine (New York City)

The NBL Canada welcome scouts from the NBA D League, PBL and other professional leagues in North America to attend the talent evaluation event in New York City on October 8th.

Global Basketball the Official Marketing partner of the NBL Canada has assembled (40 Free agents) to showcase their skills to NBL Canada executives and to the North American Minor League scouting community. The following is a short list of quality players to be featured in the event.

The NBL Canada teams are allowed to sign (8) imports per team which provides (80) jobs for American players per season. In the 2015-16 season, (35) players from the summer combines landed on opening day NBL Canada training camp rosters. The NBL Canada is an excellent developmental league for professional players to use as a platform for to elevate their careers higher level International leagues. The NBL Canada Super Combine (New York City) is being promoted by Global Basketball and will be a high quality event featuring players with real professional basketball potential.

New York City – The NBL Canada Super Combine event is to be hosted in New York City on Saturday October 8th. The NBL Combine Series have hosted over 20 combine events this summer providing tryout opportunities for future professional players. The Super Combine events in New York City and Atlanta will feature more NBL Canada head coaches and players with outstanding college careers. Every player will be either invited or screened by Global Basketball the event’s Official Marketing Partner.  The players who have the talent and ability to play professional basketball at a high level will be invited to a specific NBL team’s veteran camp in December.

The objective of the combine is to evaluate potential professional talent for the respective teams of the NBL Canada. Each team is allowed to sign (8) American imports per league rules. The NBL offers players the opportunity to play in a well structured professional sports entertainment environment. The NBL Canada Super Combine (New York City) is being promoted by Global Basketball and will be a high quality event featuring players with real professional basketball potential. Only players that are former Small College All Americans or received Small College All Conference awards will be approved. Former NCAA Division 1 players with quality statistics and athletes with pro experience will be allowed to participate in the event. The event registration criteria are elevated to make it a Super Combine event that provides more job opportunities due to the level of quality players. The Super Combine will be managed by David Magley and a group of current NBL Canada coaches.
